Soymilk Beverage Production Systems

Soymilk has been a traditional breakfast drink for centuries throughout East Asia.
To Chinese people settled both in China and overseas, non-processed(Chinese-style) soymilk is every day'S regular drink as dairy milk in the West. There are huge soymilk producers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and China. However, other people are uncomfortable with the natural beany flavor of soymilk, soymilk has not made a hit in other countries. Takai, and San-iku Foods, a manufacturer of famous SOYALAC, AH SOY in Japan, cooperated and developed the first large-scale Western-Style Good Tasting soymilk beverage production systems and sells soymilk in retort standing pouches. Nowadays, Western-Style Good Tasting soymilk is very popular in Japan, U.S.A. and Europe.

Types of soymilk

We can supply three types of soymilk beverage production system: (1) Chinese-Style Traditional Soymilk Production System, (2) Japanese-Style Good Tasting Soymilk production System, (3) Western-Style Good Tasting Soymilk Production System.

(1). Chinese-Style Traditional Soymilk Production System (Beany Flavor Soymilk)

Very simple system for production of soymilk prepared from soaked soybean which are ground with cold water. Mellow beany aroma caused in the soymilk produced by the system is favorably acceptable to the Chinese people.

(2). Japanese-Style Good Tasting Soymilk Production System (Low-beany Flavor Soymilk)

Simple system for production of soymilk prepared from soaked soybeans which are ground with hot water. As slight beany flavour is still retained, some flavors should be added to faint beany flavor in soymilk (masking).
Use of homogenizer with this system serves to give soymilk desired mildness as of dairy milk.

(3). Western-Style Good Tasting Soymilk Production System (Off-beany Flavor Soymilk)

Modern and complete large-scale system. Excludes packing machine. Use of aseptic tetra brick or retort standing pouches prevents spoilage without the use of any preservatives. The products are distributed and sold without refrigeration.
The process of production is following :
Dry soybeans are dehulled and dumped into continuous enzyme inactivator to inactivate enzyme with hot water and produce dairylike taste white soymilk.
